ABC Library Sales gladly receives donated material and has acquired some great Super 8 home video and travel collections as well The Vic Rail collection, the Brigadier Dawson collection of British India, as well as footage of Maralinga atomic tests and Nauru in the 1950’s, long line fishing, Australian whaling in the 1960s and many other places and events.
We also have representation deals with many rights holders such as Opera Australia who’s catalogue is available, and exclusive content we’ve sought such as 20,000 year-old human footprints recently uncovered and then reburied at Willandra Lakes in southeast Australia, and the 2008 demonstrations against Chinese rule in Lhasa, Tibet and Jack Egan’s last interview with the late Sir Donald Bradman.
