Sound Effects Rate Card

Effective from August 1, 2005. Rates are based on individual effects/vocalisations up to a duration of 60 seconds. All prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST where applicable.

MULTIPLE RIGHTS - 5 Year Licence Period
The highest license fee, plus 50% of the fee for each additional right required. All rights rates available on request.

Notes

Premium material (usually wildlife and some archival footage) may incur higher charges.

An access fee for supply of non-ABC copyright (and non-agent) footage will be charged.

The ABC acts as Australasian and South East Asian agent for the National Geographic Digital Motion and AP Archive. It also represents selected specialist collections.

Extended license periods available.

License fees are calculated from on-screen time of footage/audio used in completed production.

Credit available to approved ABC account holders only.
